Mahindra is serious about local shores and the depth of their product offensive continues to expand. The latest to get another edition is the Mahindra Thar range which sees the edition of a special edition Thar Adventure Series model.

The Thar Adventure Series builds on the standard specification of the Thar 2.5 CRDe 4×4 SE by adding Bundu Gear off-road bumpers, a steel canopy, multi-spoke aluminum wheels, and a snorkel.

The Bundu Gear front bumper also sports in-built LED lights and a mounting point for off-road accessories such as a front tow bar or removable winch.

At the back, the matching off-road steel bumper is fitted as standard. It has its own brightly coloured recovery points, jack mounts and an integrated tow bar.

Mechanically, the Thar Adventure series runs with Mahindra’s tried and tested 2.5-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder with 78KW of power and 247Nm of torque.

Mahindra Thar Adventure Series is priced from R293,999 and is immediately available from dealers nationally.
