A few years ago, Aston Martin dialed-up the performance outputs of the DBX with the 707 edition which made the SUV one of the fastest production SUVs in the world. Well, that wasn’t enough for the Warwickshire based automaker as the brand has unveiled a slightly more powerful version of the DBX dubbed the DBX S.
Performance
The DBX S is still powered by the Mercedes-AMG sourced 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with turbo technology transferred directly from the upcoming Valhalla supercar including its larger compressor wheel diameters and other internal improvements. Thanks to those powerplant upgrades, power output has been increased to 535 kW (15 kW more compared to the DBX 707) while torque remains unchanged at 900 Nm.
As with its DBX707 stablemate, Aston Martin DBX S distributes its power between the front and rear wheels in variable proportion – including an ability to send 50 per cent of its torque to the front and up to 100 per cent of its torque to the rear wheels alone – through an innovative 9-speed ‘wet clutch’ transmission. Aston Martin claims 0-100 km/h is achieved 3.3 seconds and the DBX S also gets a reduced acceleration time of 0.3 seconds from 0-200km/h. Top speed remains unchanged at 310 km/h.

DBX S exterior styling
Up front, a striking pure black vaned grille gives it a commanding presence, while an optional lightweight polycarbonate honeycomb grille, inspired by the DBS 770 Ultimate, adds a motorsport edge. A revised splitter and diffuser enhance aerodynamics and assertiveness, framed by signature wrap-around DRLs.
Redesigned side sills with up-turned air splitters direct airflow while amplifying the SUV’s sporty profile. Optional carbon fibre trim for the wing mirrors, side strakes, and sills adds both visual drama and weight savings. The distinctive ‘S’ badging—solid metal, glass-enamelled, and red-infilled—recalls past performance icons like the V12 Vantage S.
At the rear, quad exhausts are now vertically stacked are available in gloss or matte. A new rear bumper and diffuser, along with other components, can be specified in carbon fibre to shave off up to 7kg of weight. The DBX S also offers a new lower livery in Rosso Corsa Red, Trophy Silver, or Podium Green, highlighting the aggressive lines of the splitter, diffuser, and exhaust surrounds.

DBX S interior styling and features
The DBX S interior features a unique ‘S’ theme, with a herringbone seat design that widens upward to suggest speed. If you choose the optional carbon roof, this design extends to the headliner too.
Alcantara—a lightweight, sporty material—is standard on the seats, roof lining, console, and dashboard. For durability, high-wear areas like seat bolsters are finished in semi-aniline leather, which can also be used throughout the interior for a more luxurious feel. Red seatbelts are available for a bold, sporty touch.
The ‘S’ logo is embroidered on the seats, while Aston Martin wings are sculpted into the headrests using a precision embossing and debossing technique. The ‘S’ also appears on the door sills and engine plaque.
Inside, you’ll find a modern infotainment system developed by Aston Martin, combining elegant design with high-tech features.
A 800W 14-speaker audio system comes standard, offering immersive sound with QuantumLogic processing. For audiophiles, an optional 1,600W 23-speaker system by Bowers & Wilkins delivers studio-quality sound, using advanced speaker tech like Double Dome tweeters and Continuum midrange drivers, perfectly tuned to the DBX S cabin.
