While it is still a mystery if Hyundai SA is going to bring its i30 N to South Africa, the Korean manufacturer has teased its Tucson N with 254 kW of power.

Likely to be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show next March, the Tucson N will be able to do a 0-100km/h in less than six seconds.

The current Hyundai N available in SA makes 150 kW of power and 295 Nm of torque from a 1.6 TGDI engine.

What we know so far is that the Tucson N will boast what Hyundai says it’s a “dynamic new specification” with “motorsport-influenced details inside and out.”
