Audi is celebrating a decade of its 5.2-litre V10 Fuel Stratified Injection engine in the R8 with the R8 V10 Performance Quattro special edition treatment.

The special edition R8 comes in matte Daytona Grey shade contrasted by the bronze intake manifold of the FSI engine and the 20-inch alloy wheels for a greater visual impact.

If you like, there are other metallic colours such as Ascari Blue, Kemora Gray, Mythos Black, Floret Silver, and Suzuka Gray.

To add more appeal, the limited-run R8 features glossy black accents noticeable on the front spoiler, side sills, and rear diffuser. Even the corporate logo and the badges are black, and so is most of the interior where only the stitching is bronze to complement the body’s look.

Based on the top of the range R8, this one pushes out 456 kW and a peak torque of 580 Nm and enables the R8 to sprint from 0-100km/h in 3.1 seconds and a maximum velocity 331km/h.

Audi will make 222 coupe units and it still remains unknown if a certain number will be allocated to our market.
