Mercedes-AMG has revealed its new GT R Roadster that will take the stand at the Geneva Motor Show this week.
Mechanically, the car hasn’t changed, it still features the familiar 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 engine that churns out a healthy 430 kW and a whopping 700 Nm of torque accessed via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
All that amount of power enables the Roadster to dash from 0-100km/h in a well-deserved 3.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of up to 317 km/h.
Outside, it possesses the aggressive look of the hardtop counterpart and the interior gains fully digital instrument displays with an instrument cluster measuring 12.3 inches in front of the driver and a 10.25-inch multimedia monitor on the centre console.
Mercedes-AMG will only build 750 units and local availability to be confirmed.
