Ferrari P80/C revealed but you can’t own or drive it

Following a few teaser images yesterday of Ferrari’s new supercar, the Italian has finally revealed the P80/C, the sad thing is that it is a track-only car for a client in love with the Ferrari’s famous race cars, particularly the sports cars of the 1960s.

According to Ferrari, the engineers started working on it way back in 2015. The P80/C gains some of its influence from the Ferrari 488 GT3 race car. Ferrari further said that the engineers and designers worked together to create a completely different body that’s both aesthetically pleasing and functional around a circuit.

It has a wheelbase measured at 50 millimetres longer than the road car, and the extra length lends greater visual weight to the back of the P80/C.

There is a huge intake right behind the door which is a more striking feature. The engine cover boasts aluminium louvers that contrast with the rest of the machine’s red body and there are two wings and a massive diffuser at the back.

As usual, Ferrari is not saying anything about pricing – which is always the case when it comes to its one-off creations.
