The Mazda2 has been refreshed and has been on sale in Mzansi since last month.

    Exterior look

Outside the front bumper appears to have been revised. In addition, the front and rear chrome bumper strip and shark fin antenna from the Individual derivative have been included to offer attractive styling and finish quality. The exterior look is further enhanced by new 15” silver metallic alloy wheels on the Dynamic model and high-gloss painted 16” alloy wheels from the Individual derivative.

    More standard features

Offered in six derivatives made up of the Active (Entry spec), Dynamic (Mid spec) and Individual and Hazumi (High spec) grade levels, buyers can look forward to an auto-dimming rear view mirror, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) from the Dynamic model and upwards.

    Comfortable interior

Mazda says comfort levels have been improved in the car thanks to a new front seat design.

    Engine

The 82 kW 1.5L petrol engine offered in both manual and automatic transmissions continues to serve the range.

    Pricing

The updated Mazda 2 is priced as follows:

    Mazda2 1.5L Active Hatch Manual – R254,300

    Mazda2 1.5L Dynamic Hatch Manual – R278,100 | Auto – R294,100

    Mazda2 1.5L Individual Hatch Manual – R302,400 | Auto – R318,400

    Mazda2 1.5L Hazumi Hatch Auto – R342,200
