Minor upgrades for Toyota RAV4 range announced

One of the stalwarts of the Toyota Range, the RAV4 has received some functionality upgrades. Toyota says these are in response to customer and ever-evolving market requirements. Whatever the motivation is, we think these will help keep the RAV4 a strong seller in the segment.
A touch of leather
The RAV4 GX gets leather for the steering wheel and gear lever covering. This replaces the hard plastic used previously. Buyers will also benefit from Toyota Connect telematics service and in-car Wi-Fi connectivity (with a complimentary once-off 15 GB) which is featured as standard.
Tech Update
The RAV4 range gets an upgraded infotainment system with smartphone integration. The system is also optimized for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Safety Update
Adaptive cruise control in the top of the range VX has been updated from operating above 40 km/h to operating at all speeds. . In addition, functionality changes have also been brought to the Lane Keeping System – now featuring Lane Trace Control.

Warranty, Service & Connectivity:
All RAV4 models are sold with a 6-services/90,000 km service plan and a 3-year/100 000 km warranty.
