The Forturner leads the pack in its segment locally. Consumers just can’t seem to get enough of the 7-Seater SUV. To keep the magic going, Toyota has refreshed the exterior, interior and upgraded the engine for the 2020 model year.

    Exterior

The exterior design has been refreshed with a new front grille and reworked bumpers featuring silver strips. The car also gets newly designed slim LED headlights. The rear has been reworked with new LED Taillights and bumpers introduced. In addition, the new Fortuner comes with the redesigned 18-inch alloy wheels.

    Interior

The new interior gets a new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment that is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto makes its way into the new cabin.

    Engine

The updated Fortuner range will see the addition of a new, more powerful 2,8 turbo-diesel engine with 150 kW and 500 Nm. This is an increase of 20 kW and 50 Nm over the model it replaces.

Thailand will get a new limited edition Legend model with LED Sequential Turn Signals, unique front and back bumpers, newly designed 20-inch alloy wheels and a two-tone colour.

South African specifications and arrival are yet to be confirmed.
