    Audi has unveiled the new Audi S7 Sportback which ushers in a sporty and more luxurious driving experience in the A7 range (before the RS7 of course).  

    Exterior Design

    Outside, although the Audi S7 Sportback still maintains the new Audi design language seen in the A7, it oozes a sporty look through a dynamically styled front trim, wide sills, and rear diffuser with four tailpipe trims. To further distinguish this S7 model, the S7 has distinctive S trim elements in dark chrome and aluminium on the radiator grille lamellas, the front blade, the side air inlet, the exterior mirrors and the rear diffuser. The Audi S7 Sportback comes with HD Matrix LED headlights with animated rear lights which are connected by a flat light strip. The S7 Sportback rides on 21-inch wheels in an S-specific wheel design.

    Interior

    Inside, the S7 Sportback spots S sport seats with integrated head restraints, embossed S logo and rhombus pattern as a standard interior feature. For additional comfort, Audi offers multi-adjustable customized contour seats optionally with ventilation and massage. The standard seat upholstery is available in Valcona leather with embossed S logo and at no extra cost, customers can choose a combination of leather and Alcantara or Valcona leather and Milano leather combination. Customers also have a choice of the colours black, rotor grey and arras red.

    The Audi S7 Sportback comes with the Audi virtual cockpit with 12.3-inch display, MMI navigation plus, four-zone automatic air conditioning, HD touch displays with haptic feedback, contour ambient lighting with up to 30 colours, Audi phone box and smartphone interface, Bang and Olufsen premium sound system with 3D sound and a panoramic glass sunroof. The full suite of Audi connect technology around connected infotainment, remote services, safety, and convenience features are a few of the key standard specification.

    The interior also features an S-specific equipment details which include a dedicated graphic layout of the standard-fit Audi virtual cockpit with rev counter flashed up centrally, a flat-bottomed rim steering wheel, stainless steel footrest, pedal caps and  illuminated aluminium sill trims with S logo.

    Naturally, the S7 Sportback features various comfort and driver assistance equipment ensuring that the driving experience blends sportiness with long-distance capability. Specification options available in the S7 Sportback include 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, night vision assistant, lane change warning and quattro with sports differential to name a few. The S7 offers a spacious interior and luggage compartment with a capacity of up to 1,390 litres.

    Engine and Power

    The Audi S7 Sportback is powered by a 3.0 TFSI engine which produces 331 kW of power and 600 Nm of torque, which is paired with a tiptronic gearbox. The S7 Sportback has a top speed of 250 km/h and it moves from a 0 to a 100km in 4.6 seconds.

    Availability

    The new Audi S7 TFSI Sportback quattro Tiptronic is priced at R1,500,500 and comes standard with a 5 year / 100,000km Audi Freeway plan.
