New 2022 Volkswagen Taigo for Mzansi

Citing increasing demand for crossovers and SUVs, Volkswagen South Africa will add a new SUV coupe family member next year called the Taigo bringing the German automaker’s total T-SUV models in South Africa to 6. The Crossover Utility Vehicle will be positioned in the A0 SUV segment. Curiously, this is where the likes of Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta are positioned. With this in mind, we expect it to be larger than the T-Cross and be near T-Roc proportions.

The sporty crossover is planned to be make its official European premiere around fourth quarter of 2021.

Volkswagen South Africa will announce further details towards the end of this year, which will be followed by pricing and detailed specification closer to the launch date in South Africa next year.
