    Local is lekker: now you can get your very own BMW 3 Series Mzansi Edition

    After recently unveiling the BMW X3 Mzansi Edition, BMW South Africa has revealed yet another Mzansi Edition based on the current generation BMW 3 Series sedan.

    Sporty exterior

    Like the BMW X3 Mzansi Edition, the BMW 3 Series Mzansi Edition features a sporty exterior kit. As standard, the 3 Series Mzansi Edition is kitted with the M Sport package with M High-gloss Shadow Line detailing for the kidney grille frame and grille, M carbon mirror caps, and BMW Individual lights in Shadow Line further offset the glossy black elements. Capping off the updated front view is the BMW 3 Series Mzansi Edition’s High-gloss black front splitter with carbon fibre inserts to further distinguish the model.

    The side profile of the 3 Series Mzansi Edition features hallmark red M Sport brake callipers are paired with 19-inch M light alloy wheels, LED door projectors and High-gloss black side sill inserts to continue the theme. The rear-end gets black chrome trim for its tailpipes, a high-gloss black rear diffuser and a carbon fibre rear spoiler.

    The 3 Series Mzansi Edition is available in five colours – Portimao Blue, Black Sapphire Metallic, Mineral Grey Metallic, Mineral White Metallic and Alpine White

    Iconic grille

    One standout feature is the iconic glow grille, previously only available on the BMW X6. The iconic glow grille features LED backlighting that is illuminated when the vehicle is locked and unlocked.

    Posh interior

    Inside, the 3 Series Mzansi Edition is fitted with a range of premium features including upholstery in a sporty combination of Sensatec and Alcantara with contrast stitching, M seatbelts, BMW Live Cockpit Professional, ambient lighting, and glass sunroof with sliding and tilting options.

    Three engine variants

    The BMW 3 series Mzansi Edition is available with three engine variants ranging from 115kW to 140kW. All Mzansi Edition models are fitted as standard with an 8-speed Sport Automatic transmission.

    Pricing for the BMW 3 Series Mzansi Edition is as follows:

    BMW 318i Mzansi Edition – R831,524;l

    BMW 320i Mzansi Edition – R863,692; and

    BMW 320d Mzansi Edition – R908,126.
