The updated Nissan Navara Double Cab, which was launched in South Africa back in June, has been joined by the Single Cab workhorse. The Japanese automaker’s local arm says the Single Cab comes with an impressive list of best-in-class features and a powerful petrol and diesel turbo engine (on entry and mid grades).

    Powertrains

Powering the new Nissan Navara Single Cab is powered by a 2.5-litre D0HC petrol engine (XE grade) making 118 kW and 233 Nm torque. The 2.5-litre diesel powertrain comes in two levels of output. The high output engine delivers 140 kW and 450 Nm. The mid-output (XE and SE Grades), has a 2.5 litre dual overhead camshafts with direct injection, turbocharged with intercooler diesel engine producing 120 kW and 403Nm, making it the most powerful engine in its class.

For consumers who intend on using the Single Cab Navara as a workhorse, the new Navara Single Cab has load capacity of up to 1,144 kg. Nissan promises durability with reinforced body and suspension.

    Pricing and warranty
