2021 marks 25 years of the Mercedes-Benz Vito. Since the market launch of the first generation in 1996, more than 1.8 million units of the successful van model series have been sold worldwide. The spacious and flexible van celebrates a quarter of a century since its global market launch, it is now available with Blind Spot Assist enhancing the list of safety features.
The Blind Spot Assist feature provides an extra pair of eyes, which help drivers to safely navigate a lane-change and to avoid accidents. Blind Spot Assist is just one of the safety enhancements the Vito offers. The Vito Facelift has an extensive range of safety assistance systems.

The Vito Panel Van was the first van to be equipped as standard with airbags and seat belt reminders for both the driver and co-driver. With Crosswind Assist and Attention Assist among the standard equipment six years ago, the Vito redefined safety standards in this segment. Optional equipment to provide drivers with further assistance are Active Brake Assist and Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC as well as Lane Keeping and Blind Spot Assist with Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
