Flagship Suzuki Grand Vitara breaks cover

The all-new Suzuki Grand Vitara has officially been unveiled. The newcomer boasts a bold new design, new technologies new safety and driver assistance systems as well as hybrid powertrains. Suzuki’s flagship SUV is based on the recently unveiled Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
Exterior design
The new Grand Vitara has a muscular and assertive stance thanks to its distinctive 3-point signature lamps, a flushed hood and crafted polygonal chrome grille. Wheel sizes are yet to be confirmed however we should expect 17-inches wheels. At the rear, the new Grand Vitara sports slim LED taillights and a split light strip.
The exterior dimensions are as follows: length (4 345mm), width (1 795mm) and height (1 645mm).
Interior design and technology
Inside, the new Grand Vitara has an upmarket look thanks to its black and burgundy dual tone interior with silver stitched synthetic leather on the instrument panel and the trims. The All-New Grand Vitara is equipped with a panoramic sunroof, head-up display, 9-inch touchscreen, ventilated seats, 360 view camera, wireless charging, rear AC vents and six airbags.
Powertrains
Powering the new Grand is a hybridised 1.5-litre Intelligent Electric Hybrid (hybrid) and a Smart Hybrid (mild hybrid) engines. Suzuki is yet to share the total system outputs of the new Grand Vitara. The 4WD variant of the new Grand Vitara is equipped with AllGrip Select, a system that will allow the driver to choose from four selectable driving modes.
The hybrid model is paired to an e-CVT whilst the mild-hybrid model is either paired to a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission
