    New Mercedes-EQ range debuts at 2022 Festival of Motoring

    The highly-anticipated Festival of Motoring took place this psst weekend after a two year break due to Covid-19 regulations. One of the exhibitors at the 2022 Festival of Motoring was Mercedes-Benz South Africa which revealed various models from their all-electric range like the EQA, EQB, EQC and EQS.

    Mercedes-EQ range pricing

    During a media briefing at the Festival of Motoring, Mercedes-Benz South Africa shared the pricing of the all-new EQ range.

    The entry-level model to the all-electric world of Mercedes-EQ vehicles is the EQA 250 which is priced at R1,169,500. The second all-electric compact car from Mercedes-EQ is the EQB 350 4Matic which is priced at R1,374,500 and will be available in South Africa in October 2022.

    One of the Mercedes-EQ’s longstanding model is the EQC. In fact it’s the first Mercedes-Benz model under the Mercedes-EQ banner. The EQC 400 4MATIC will be available in South Africa with a price of R1,679,00.

    Mercedes-Benz SA also showcased the “S-Class of electric cars” – the EQS 450+ and Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4Matic+. The EQS 450+ and Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4Matic+ will be available in South Africa from November 2022. The EQS 450+ will cost R2,615,700 and the EQS 53 4MATIC+ R3,410,100.
