Bentley has decided to upgrade their Hybrid model line up with a bit more, electric range, and two new trims carried over from the gas-powered models.

    Bentley Bentayga Hybrid S

The S model is the sportier model and looks more aggressive than the Azure model. Apart from the looks, underneath it gets stiffer suspension, a more aggressively tuned traction control system when engaging Sport mode, and a new deeper sounding exhaust system. As standard, it swaps out the exterior chrome accents for shiny black accents instead.

    Bentley Bentayga Hybrid Azure

When it comes to the Azure model, it’s more of a luxury approach. It comes with a Front Seat Comfort Specification, offering up to 22-way adjustability and a heating and ventilation function. The Bentayga Azure Hybrid also includes ‘wellness quilting’, offering the visual and tactile pleasure of precisely crafted diamond quilted upholstery. Buyers can choose from three open-pore veneers – Dark Walnut, Crown-Cut Walnut and Koa.

    Power upgrades

The Bentayga Hybrid now has 6 per cent more power and 15 per cent more torque. It now has 340 kW compared to the previous 326 kW. This power comes from a 3.0-liter V6 hybrid engine with a single 100.0-kilowatt electric motor-generator which is paired to a larger 18.0-kilowatt-hour battery pack (13.0-kilowatt-hour before). This has stretched the electric-only drive from 40 km to 43 km.
