Audi has decided to spruce up the RS7 and RS6 Avant with a power/torque bump and optional lightweight wheels.
Audi has leveled up the power on these “Performance” models with their twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engines now producing 463 kW/850 Nm, which is a 22 kW and 50 Nm bump over the standard Audi RS7 and RS6 Avant. Audi now claims a 0 – 100 km/h sprint time in 3.4 seconds which is two-tenths of a second quicker than the standard models.

The cast aluminum wheels on the Performance models are 21 inches in diameter and may be upgraded to a 22-inch set. The interesting aspect of this wheels is that they weigh around five kilograms less than a standard 22-inch wheel thanks to a high-tech forging-milling process.
The RS Dynamic Package comes standard. This includes the increase in maximum speed to 280 km/h, dynamic all-wheel steering, and the quattro sport differential on the rear axle. Opting for the RS Dynamics Package plus unlocks the top speed top speed to 305 km/h and includes massive RS ceramic brake system which measure 440 mm (front) and 370 mm (rear). Customers can order the calipers in gray, red, or blue. The RS ceramic brake system weights a total of approx. 34 kg less than its steel counterpart for a reduction of the unsprung masses.

When it comes to the interior the well-known RS design packages in gray and red have been expanded to incorporate the color blue for the interior. Contrasting stitching in Mercato blue can be seen on the Alcantra black steering wheel rim, as well as the floor mats, the side of the center console, and the selector lever cuff. The seat belts have a full-surface color of ocean blue and optional blue accents on the carbon twill inlays used as decorative inlays.
