Isuzu Motors South Africa recently announced its new expanded board of directors, effective from 01 December 2022. This happens at the back of just 4 years of a journey of end-to-end business transformation to drive growth and expansion for the local OEM.

One of the new incoming board members is Ms. Penelope Mkhwanazi, Senior Vice President Revenue Generation Rest of Africa and International Markets. Mkhwanazi’s career spans various industries including manufacturing, mining and construction, fast moving consumer goods and entrepreneurship. She has a proven track record that has yielded great business value through the various leadership roles that she has performed within.

Other new members include Mr. Komane Pitso (Senior Vice President Commercial Operations), Mr. Dominic Rimmer (Senior Vice President Technical Operations) and Mr. Craig Uren (Senior Vice President Revenue Generation for Southern African Customs Union). This brings the current board of Isuzu to eight board members. The new members join the Chairman of the board, Naohiro Yamaguchi (Senior Executive Officer: LCV Business, based in Japan), Billy E. Tom (President of ISUZU Motors South Africa), Mongezi Hermans (Senior Vice President Human Capital and Corporate Affairs) and Michiyuki Miura (Chief Financial Officer).

The incoming directors will all continue to serve in their current roles as Senior Vice Presidents of ISUZU Motors South Africa.
