Peugeot South Africa showcased a new derivative of the Landtrek bakkie called the Landtrek Warrior. Official details haven’t been released yet but we can tell that the Warrior will most likely be exterior cosmetic updates only.

Rugged, go anywhere appearance
Peugeot bolstered the mean-looking Landtrek with a bunch of off-road accessories which give it a muscular, more menacing look. These accessories and styling bits and bobs include a prominent guard bar which is fitted with auxiliary LED lights. The guard bar protects the headlights, radiator grille and front bumper.
In profile, the Landtrek Warrior sports a decal with a modern interpretation of the ‘Lion-Peugeot’, tough side steps, contrasting wheel arches, 18-inch aftermarket A-Line Outback wheels wrapped with chunky Mud Rage M/T 265/60R tyres, a sports bar and a Securi-Lid cover as well as a load bed rack. At the rear, the Landtrek Warrior gets Peugeot’s new logo, a steel bumper with integrated toe hooks and an integrated tow bar.

Same old, same old
The interior remains untouched and it’s most likely going to be powered by the same 1.9-litre 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine that pushes out 110 kW of power and 350 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Peugeot SA hasn’t released the official details nor have they shared if the Warrior edition will be added to the local Landtrak range.
