Previously, Mazda’s flagship CX-60, which arrived in SA earlier this year, was solely available with one powerplant – a naturally-aspirated 2.5-litre petrol engine. Mazda South Africa has confirmed that CX-60 will get a new Takumi variant as well as a new hybridised turbodiesel engine.

    Turbocharged mild hybrid diesel engine

The new powerplant to the CX-60 range will be a 3.3-litre in-line 6-cylinder turbodiesel mild hybrid engine developing a decent 187kW and 550Nm.

    CX-60 Takumi grade

The Mazda CX-60 Takumi features an exclusive front bumper design, a bar type piano black grille, a bright metal finish to the front signature wings, side signatures and glazing surrounds, and 20-inch, black metallic, diamond-cut machined alloy wheels.

    Availability

The new Mazda CX-60 Takumi is expected to arrive in South Africa in February 2024 with a starting at R1,049,200. The CX-60 3.3L Turbo Diesel Mild-Hybrid features a 5-year unlimited milage service plan and warranty, ensuring you succumb to its powers without compromising on the quality of your journey.
