Mercedes-Benz Vans has launched the new Vito in South Africa, featuring significant upgrades in design, equipment, driver-assistance systems, and functionality.

    Upgraded interior and exterior design

The new Vito features a redesigned cockpit with a new instrument panel, air vents, and a new generation of steering wheels. It also comes standard with leather seats. The center console now includes a removable cup holder, two USB-C ports, and optional open storage areas. Exterior design wise, the Vito boasts a new front design, powerfully drawn bumper, and new radiator grille.

    Enhanced connectivity

A key highlight of the new Vito is the inclusion of the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system as standard across all variants. The system includes a 10.25-inch central display that is operated by touch. Additionally, the instrument cluster has a colour display for easy control using touch panels on the new steering wheel.

    Versatility for various industries

With a gross vehicle weight of 2.8 to 3.2 tonnes, the Vito is available in three variants: Panel Van, Mixto, and Tourer, along with two equipment lines. It serves diverse industries, from tradespeople to emergency services, with a loading volume of up to 6.6 m³ for the panel van and seating for up to eight in the Tourer variant. Coming in at a height of under two meters, Mercedes-Benz ensures easy navigation in urban areas and parking structures.

    Simplified equipment selection

Mercedes-Benz Vans has simplified the equipment selection process, enhancing standard features and fine-tuning package options to suit specific customer needs. This streamlined approach reduces the complexity of choosing individual options, providing a hassle-free shopping experience for commercial customers.
