    Lexus South Africa announces pricing of new hybrid LX 700h

    The Lexus brand is gradually transitioning to electrification and their latest model to get electrified is the brand’s flagship LX SUV. Dubbed the LX700h, the newly added derivative ushers in a new parallel hybrid system as well as numerous other updates like platform updates, enhanced features and equipment, enhanced safety features, and a new Overtrail edition featuring specialized equipment and unique interior and exterior colors inspired by the Lexus Overtrail Project.

    Power and performance

    The updated LX is now available in three grades – Overtrail, F Sport, and VIP . The LX 700h is powered by a 3.5-litre V6 hybrid turbopetrol engine generates an impressive total system output of 341kW of power and 790Nm of torque, making this LX the most powerful model to date. For those seeking a diesel option the LX 500d is powered by a 3.3-litre turbodiesel engine delivering 225kW and 700Nm. Both powertrains are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

    LX 700h Overtrail

    Designed for pure adventure, the LX 700h Overtrail pushes boundaries with its superior off-road capabilities. Equipped with cutting-edge 4×4 technology, a new petrol hybrid engine, and rugged 18-inch wheels, this model lets you journey beyond the ordinary. Featuring seven seats, a new exterior colour (Desert Moonlight), and remarkable performance, the Overtrail is a true companion for those seeking to explore the world with luxury and capability.

    LX 700h F Sport

    The LX 700h F Sport turns heads with its striking, race-inspired design. With unique F Sport trim, the exclusive black mesh grille, and 22-inch aluminum wheels, this SUV combines aggressive styling with refined luxury. Inside, the dimpled leather F Sport seats and embossed details provide both comfort and control, making it the perfect vehicle for those who crave performance and sophistication.

    LX 700h VIP

    For the ultimate in comfort and indulgence, the LX 700h VIP offers an extraordinary experience.     The Lexus LX boasts a 7-year/100 000km Warranty and Full Maintenance Plan. Vehicle service intervals are pegged at 10 000km for both HEV and diesel models – alternatively once a year. 700h models come with an additional 8-year/195 000km hybrid battery warranty.
