Ford Territory Dark Edition launches in South Africa

Ford South Africa has introduced the new Territory Dark Edition, an exclusive, top-tier variant of its popular compact SUV range. Building on the Titanium model, the Dark Edition features bold styling, premium interior details, and advanced technology, providing standout value in the fast-growing SUV market.
On the outside, the Territory Dark Edition is distinguished by a satin black grille, high-gloss black skid plate, black fog lamp accents and mirror caps, 19-inch Ebony Black alloy wheels, and a black roof with matching roof rails. A black “Territory” badge highlights its exclusivity. Four exterior colours are offered: Crystal Pearl White, Lustrous Grey, Panther Black, and Ruby Red.

Inside, the SUV features a charcoal black headliner, black perforated leather seats with Cyber Orange stitching, and a gloss-black panel housing a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen. The infotainment system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with Bluetooth, an eight-speaker audio system, wireless charging, and multiple USB ports.
Under the bonnet, the Territory Dark Edition is powered by a 1.8-litre turbocharged EcoBoost petrol engine, delivering 138 kW and 318 Nm of torque. It is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) and features four selectable drive modes: Eco, Normal, Sport, and Mountain.

Safety features include Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Pre-Collision Assist, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, and a new 360-degree camera. The SUV is also equipped with six airbags, Electronic Stability Control, Hill Launch Assist, Hill Descent Control, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring.
