Ferrari has revealed the Ferrari Amalfi, a new front-mid-engined 2+ coupé positioned as the successor to the Ferrari Roma. The model combines modern design, V8 performance, and day-to-day usability.

    Design and styling

The Amalfi presents a new direction for Ferrari’s 2+ coupés, with sculpted surfaces and minimalist lines. Design elements include a floating front wing, recessed lighting, and an integrated rear spoiler. The vehicle’s rear features a wide diffuser and tail lights integrated into the bodywork.

The interior uses a dual-cockpit layout, separating the driver and passenger with defined design elements. A 15.6-inch instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch central display, and an 8.8-inch passenger screen provide vehicle information and controls. Materials such as carbon fibre and anodised aluminium are used throughout, and optional comfort features include massage seats and a Burmester audio system.

    Powertrain and performance

The Amalfi is powered by an updated version of Ferrari’s 3855cc twin-turbo V8 engine. It produces 470 kW and 760 Nm of torque. Technical updates include revised turbo management and a lighter engine block. Performance figures include a top speed of 320 km/h, and 0–100 km/h in 3.3 seconds.

An 8-speed dual-clutch transmission is standard, delivering rapid gear changes and optimized urban drivability. Engine components such as a flat-plane crankshaft and low-inertia turbines contribute to power delivery. The exhaust system is designed to comply with regulations while maintaining a recognisable engine tone.

    Driving dynamics

The Amalfi incorporates brake-by-wire technology and the ABS Evo system, integrated into Ferrari’s Side Slip Control 6.1. The steering system provides real-time grip estimation, enhancing vehicle response under varied conditions. A rear active spoiler adjusts automatically to improve downforce when needed.

    Aerodynamics

Aerodynamic elements include underbody fairings, front vortex generators, and rear diffusers. The rear active wing operates in Low Drag, Medium Downforce, and High Downforce configurations depending on speed and driving conditions. It generates up to 110 kg of downforce at 250 km/h.

    Onboard technology

The cabin features a simplified control interface with physical buttons on the steering wheel. The infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and wireless charging. Vehicle functions can also be accessed remotely through the MyFerrari Connect system.

    Practical features

The 2+ seating layout allows for increased cargo capacity or occasional use of rear seats. Boot space is rated at 273 litres. A front lifter system raises the front axle by 40 mm at speeds up to 35 km/h to assist with urban driving.

    Tyres and chassis

The Amalfi rides on 20-inch wheels, with tyres measuring 245/35 R20 at the front and 285/35 R20 at the rear. Tyres are supplied by Bridgestone Potenza Sport or Pirelli P ZERO. A 50:50 weight distribution and a dry weight of 1,470 kg contribute to handling.

    Safety and assistance

Driver assistance systems include Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Keeping Assist, and others. Additional features such as Surround View and Rear Cross Traffic Alert are available as options.

    Maintenance programme

The Amalfi is covered by Ferrari’s 7-year Genuine Maintenance Programme, which includes all scheduled maintenance and is valid worldwide. This applies to both new and pre-owned models.
