BMW has revealed a very limited edition 2026 M2 Turbo Design Edition, paying tribute to the legendary 1974-1975 BMW 2002 turbo. The Alpine White coupe features hand-painted Motorsport stripes, a black hood with mirrored “turbo” script, an M Carbon roof with tricolor stripes, and a carbon fiber rear spoiler.

Inside, the cabin is driver-focused with M Sport seats, optional M Carbon bucket seats, a heated M Alcantara steering wheel, and exclusive “M2 turbo” branding. The six-speed manual gearbox keeps the connection to the original 2002 turbo alive, while modern tech like adaptive Full LED lights, Live Cockpit Professional, and wireless charging add contemporary convenience.

    Under the hood, a 3.0-litre M TwinPower Turbo inline-six produces 353 kW and 600 Nm of torque. The M2 hits 0-100 km/h in 4.0 seconds, reaching a top speed of 250 km/h, or 285 km/h with the optional M Driver’s Package.

Production starts in January 2026 in very limited numbers, with deliveries expected in early Q2. This limited edition M2 combines BMW’s turbocharged heritage with modern performance and style in one striking package.
