Haval has introduced an update to the Jolion Pro, bringing revised styling, upgraded tech and an expanded engine lineup to its compact SUV offering.

What’s new on the outside and inside

The updated model features a smoked black exterior package that changes the look of the grille, window surrounds and rear diffuser. Inside, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay have been improved, wireless charging is now rated at 50W and there are new Type C ports for easier device charging. The steering wheel has also been redesigned with a thicker, sportier shape.

    Engine options

The updated range offers three powertrains:

    • A 1.5 litre turbo petrol producing 105 kW and 210 Nm, paired with a seven speed dual clutch gearbox. Claimed fuel consumption is 8.1 L per 100 km.

    • A stronger 1.5T S option with 130 kW and 270 Nm, also using the seven speed DCT, with a claimed average of 7.5 L per 100 km.

    • A hybrid setup delivering 140 kW and 375 Nm, capable of switching between electric-only, series and parallel hybrid modes. Haval claims 5.1 L per 100 km.

    Pricing

    Jolion 1.5T City – R348,950

    Jolion 1.5T City Plus 7DCT – R373,950

    Jolion Pro 1.5T Premium 7DCT – R392,150

    Jolion Pro 1.5T Ultra Luxury 7DCT – R466,450

The update gives buyers more options in terms of powertrain and spec, while keeping the Jolion Pro positioned as one of the more accessible compact SUVs in the market.

    After-sales support

All models come with: A 7 year or 200 000 km warranty, 7 year roadside assistance, a 7 year or 75 000 km service plan, and a 12 month or 15 000 km service intervals.
