Citroën South Africa has introduced the Model Year 2026 updates for the C3 and Aircross, bringing a series of feature and comfort enhancements to two of its core models in the local line-up. The updates are aimed at improving everyday usability and technology, while maintaining the positioning of both vehicles in the competitive B-segment.

Both the C3 and Aircross now receive a number of convenience-focused features as standard. These include keyless entry with ProxiSense and push-button start, cruise control with a speed limiter, and an electrochromic interior rear-view mirror designed to reduce glare during night driving.

    Citroën C3 MY26

The updated C3 continues to target urban buyers and first-time owners, combining compact dimensions with modern technology. Power comes from a range of 1.2-litre PureTech petrol engines, including a turbocharged option paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Standard features include a 10-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The exterior design retains its SUV-inspired elements such as wheel arch cladding, roof rails and skid plates. Safety equipment includes six airbags and an electronic stability programme.

    Citroën Aircross MY26

The Aircross receives similar technology upgrades, along with a refreshed cabin layout. For MY26, the interior features an updated dashboard design and a floating digital instrument cluster.

Engine options include naturally aspirated and turbocharged 1.2-litre petrol units, with the turbo engine paired to a six-speed automatic transmission. The Aircross remains available in both five-seat and seven-seat configurations, with a removable third-row seat for added flexibility. Rear air vents and additional charging ports are included for improved passenger comfort, while ground clearance and SUV styling cues support both urban and weekend use.

    Safety and warranty

Both models are built on platforms that have achieved four-star and five-star Bharat NCAP safety ratings. Standard safety features across the range include six airbags, ISOFIX child-seat anchor points and electronic stability control.

The MY26 Citroën C3 and Aircross are now available at dealerships nationwide. All models are sold with a five-year or 100,000 km factory warranty.
