    New Jolion Pro Limited Edition stands out with subtle design changes

    GWM has introduced a new Limited Edition version of the Jolion Pro, adding a few visual tweaks to one of South Africa’s most popular compact SUVs.

    Rather than changing the formula, the Limited Edition focuses mainly on styling. It builds on the existing Jolion Pro Super Luxury model, adding green exterior trim accents, green brake calipers, and limited-edition branded carpets. The idea is to give the SUV a slightly more distinctive look without affecting its everyday usability.

    Mechanically, nothing changes. The Limited Edition uses the same 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine found in the Super Luxury, producing 130kW and 270Nm. Power is sent to the front wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

    Inside, the focus remains on convenience and connectivity. Features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 50W wireless charging, USB-C ports, and voice command functionality. A thicker, sportier steering wheel is also part of the package.

    The Jolion has become a key product for GWM in South Africa, accounting for roughly half of the brand’s local sales. The Limited Edition arrives as a small design-focused update rather than a major mechanical or specification change.
